MUMBAI, OCTOBER 18: Unidentified individuals allegedly fired at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening. The actor escaped unhurt, while his driver is suspected to have sustained a bullet injury to his left hand, an injury that police had yet to confirm.

The incident occurred near Pushpa Park, within the jurisdiction of Juhu police station, as Shroff was leaving a ground in his vehicle. According to preliminary reports, three to four rounds were fired from within a crowd that had gathered to see the actor.

Shroff and his driver were taken to Nanavati Hospital in Juhu. Police are reconstructing the sequence of events and examining CCTV footage to identify those responsible. Specialised teams have been deployed as part of a major manhunt.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the firing, according to the report. The claim forms part of the ongoing investigation and does not, by itself, establish who carried out the attack.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis contacted the Mumbai Police Commissioner following the incident and directed the police to conduct a swift investigation and take strict action against those responsible.
